I can't say it's painful. But sometimes, even though I'm having a great time, I miss my friends. I also miss having a GF. But that's not something I should be thinking about, what with classes and such to work on. Sometimes I wonder if the distractions I place for myself are enough. My ambitions? Could they be set high enough to make up for a spiritually fulfilling relationship. My belated answer must be, in the end, it's just a distraction until I have to face the truth. And ultimately, success for me is measured in the reaction of that significant other. I have the drive, and eventually will have the know-how. But praise is little and sparse. Hell I don't know what I'm going for. What person looking for a wonderous relationship would write a book and pursue an engineering degree? AND aspire to build something of a personal empire? I guess I had to get it temporarily out of my system. I can't really post this shit on facebook, might actually worry someone eh? Anyways, college is fine. but in some ways it seems that so little has changed.
